Learned from National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) in US and supported jointly by 11 multinational corporations including Dell, IBM, Cisco, Motorola, Cummins, Johnson Controls, Intel, Coca-Cola, Tasly, Boeing, and ITT, Minority Supplier Development in China (MSD China) was initiated and established in 2008 as the 1st national non-profit platform in China dedicated to driving the development of China’s minority-owned businesses through connecting minority suppliers with purchasing corporations for procurement opportunities on mutually beneficial basis. Our work is to establish a platform for communications and business exchanges between minority suppliers and purchasing corporations and to develop the minority suppliers into competitive and successful regional and global suppliers.
